On October 29, 2019, an agreement was reached on the details of HSPBA`s wage rates negotiated for the 2019-2022 collective agreement for health professionals. The finalized salary grids can be found here. Please note that there are several salary scales related to the job and that you must refer to the salary grid that corresponds to your profession. The collective agreement for health professionals is negotiated between employers and the Health Sciences Professionals Bargaining Association (HSPBA). It includes more than 16,000 HSA members, as well as members of the Hospital Employees Union (HEU), the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), the Professional Employees Association (PEF) and the British Columbia Government Employees Union (BCGEU). Members and stewards should be aware that this draft collective agreement may contain errors and omissions that will be corrected in the coming months when the agreement is finalized and printed. Once the print version is complete, employers are responsible for distributing the collective bargaining books to each employee covered by the HSPBA. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the contract entered into force on 1 April 2014 and expired on 31 March 2019. .
